Greg is a civil and criminal litigator. He was born and raised in Checotah, Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Greg was a member of the OU football team that won three conference titles and one national title. He earned his Juris Doctor in 1994 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and is now admitted to practice law in Oklahoma.
From 1995 to 1998 Greg served as an Assistant District Attorney for District 25 - Okmulgee and McIntosh counties. In 1999 he served as Staff Attorney for the District Attorney’s Council in Oklahoma City. Then from 2000 to 2003, he served as an Assistant District Attorney for District 21 - Cleveland, McClain and Garvin counties.
Greg pursued a successful private practice in Purcell after leaving the public sector, with a focus on criminal defense and general civil litigation. Greg was elected District Judge for Cleveland, McClain and Garvin counties in 2011, serving as Supervising District Judge in McClain and Garvin counties. His four years on the bench equipped him with a well-rounded knowledge in multiple areas of the law.
In 2015, Greg resigned his judicial seat to re-enter private practice in the oil and gas sector in Colorado, and he has now returned to his home state to continue his practice. Greg focuses in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, using his extensive experience as District Judge, prosecutor, and litigator to provide legal services to his clients.
In January of 2019, Greg had the privilege of joining Drew on Main St. and establishing Nichols Dixon. Drew and Greg have been long-time friends, having worked together as state prosecutors in District 21.
Greg was born and raised in rural Oklahoma with a strong emphasis on faith, hard work and respect for others. Greg has, and remains, committed to these characteristics in developing relationships and representing his clients. Greg and his wife live in Norman. Their number one enjoyment is family and serve in different capacities in their church and its ministries.
